News: Make Up For Ever No Retouching Campaign

Today, Make Up For Ever began their first advertising campaign dedicated to the “no retouching” makeup line called “HD–No Retouching.” The campaign promotes MUFE’s HD line of makeup products, advertised to “reveal a perfect-looking skin” without retouching.

This campaign features four women taking self-portraits, with their un-retouched photos for viewers to see. The No Retouching campaign will also be available via the web through interactive videos starting March 1, 2011. Viewers will be able to zoom onto the skin of the four women using the makeup products from the HD line.

I used MAC foundations for years, tried several formulas and I couldn’t get any of them to look natural. I went to Sephora (closest one at the time was a ferry ride away so I rarely got to go) and tried MUFE HD, and it was love at first sight! Doesn’t cake or look dry, doesn’t oxidize like typical foundations and turn orange, and easy to build. Great product! 🙂

People’s sense of beauty is falsified with all the photoshopping in magazines.

I think this campaign is great!
