This comes in a twist-up lip balm tube with a cap that you pull off. Simple and easy to throw in your purse and take with you.

Jane Iredale says that this “adjusts to your own chemistry for an irresistible pink shade that will flatter your skin’s undertone.” This isn’t exactly accurate (there’s no intelligence behind the color change and it won’t change to fit your undertone), but the color will change slightly depending on your skin’s pH.
The color is a bright, translucent pink that will be flattering on many skin tones.
The product is very smooth and can be used on both your cheeks and lips. The color shows up immediately on the lips, but expect to do a bit of layering if you want to use it on your cheeks. Once you get the color to the intensity you like on your cheeks, it gives off a great, natural-looking flush of color.
Unlike the name suggests, I don’t think this is a stain of color. It will last on your lips 2-3 hours if you don’t eat or drink. If you use the color on your cheeks, set it with a translucent powder to keep it from fading.

Applying on the lips is easy–the color glides on smoothly. For your cheeks, you have to work with the product, layering and blending.

You get 2.3 g of product for $25.00. As a rough comparison, MAC’s Lip Conditioner Sticks are 4.8 g and $14.50 each.
As you can tell, this product is pricey. Keep in mind that Jane Iredale is a mineral cosmetics company, which tend to be more expensive. Also, this product can be used both on the lips and cheeks, unlike a regular lip balm, which justifies a higher price.

oh my!!! this is an awesome product! it’s a lip and cheek stain! by jane iredale. really love the fact that it gives a naturally looking pink to the lips and cheeks! =D really want to try it out!
