Fall Colour Eye Shadow Quad in “Angel Flame”
Limited Edition
Release Date: September 29, 2011
Availability: MAC online & MAC stores
This review covers Angel Flame eye shadow quad from MAC’s Fall Colour Collection.
- Chamomile (satin): Creamy pale yellow (Limited Edition, Repromote)
- Feather Pink (satin): Mid-tone pink (Limited Edition)
- Angel Flame (frost): Coral that flashes pink/yellow (Limited Edition)
- Gravel (matte): Blue-grey (Limited Edition)
Packaging: 9/10
This quad is packaged in a standard MAC container–a plastic 2-by-2 palette with a see-through, flip-up, magnetized lid.
Quality: 7.5/10
The colors in this quad have mediocre pigmentation. Chamomile and Angel Flame require a lot of layering to get the colors to show up. Gravel, especially for being a matte formula, has decent color pay-off.
Ease of Use: 8.5/10
You’ll need to really pack on the layers to get most of the colors to show up.
Price: 8.5/10
Single shadows are (now) $15.00 each, so for four colors, $38.00 is a good deal.

Thanks for posting.. I had this one on my wishlist but you just saved me some $$ =)
The mix of colors is interesting, but Angel Flame looks like it might be a bit orangey (though I guess the flash of pink might help). And it sounds too disappointing in the quality description to try it out.
