This review covers the 2 MAC Fashion Flower Beauty Powders in Light Sunshine and Alpha Girl.
- Light Sunshine: pastel neutral pink with soft gold and pink sparkles (limited edition)
- Alpha Girl: soft peachy pink with gold nuances (re-promote from Heatherette)
Please see this post for more photos of the beauty powders.
Packaging: 9.25/10
These beauty powders come in standard MAC packaging. The plastic compacts have flip-up, snap-shut lids and can easily be taken on-the-go. Both powders have an embossed flower design on the pan.
Quality: 9/10
Light Sunshine is a very, very light pink color that is also shimmery. This color is too light for even the lightest skin tones to be used as a blush or for color, but it makes for a great highlighter.
Alpha Girl is a very soft coral pink color. The color is subtle, but can be layered. You’d have to really pack it on to use it as a blush, but it makes a great overall color.
Ease of Use: 9/10
Both these colors go on without a lot of work. You may have to apply several layers of Alpha Girl depending on how much color you want.
Price: 8.5/10
These are the same size (10 g) and price ($25.00) as regular MAC beauty powders.
Buy if: you want a finely-milled highlighter or subtle coral color for the cheeks

Wow, they both look great! I would love to try ALPHA girl.
Hmm…I guess I will pass on Alpha Girl after all…I have enough blush.
