This review is for MAC Gareth Pugh’s Technakohl Liner in “Greyprint”:
- Rich pewter grey with frost
As with all Technakohl Liners, Greyprint comes in a thin, plastic tube with a twisting base that reveals more product. My small gripe with this packaging is that the product doesn’t seem secure inside the tube and wiggles around.
True to MAC’s color description, this is a grey color with frost, effectively making it a silver color.
The formula is smooth and the pencil itself is soft. But the color isn’t very “rich” and you certainly don’t get a strong finish unless you apply multiple layers.
The good thing about Technakohl Liners, though, is that they are smudge and fade resistant after they dry. So you can expect them to be long-wearing.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The product transfers onto the skin easily, but you have to swipe multiple times to build up the color.
You get the same amount of product (0.35 grams) but you pay $19.00 instead of $15.00 (the normal price). You don’t even get special packaging, except for the cardboard box the liner comes in. If you buy Greyprint through the regular MAC link, you pay $15.00; but if you buy Greyprint through the Gareth Pugh link, you pay $4.00 more.
