This review covers MAC’s 4 MAC Me Over Lipglass lip glosses from Part I of the collection.
- Illicit: Creamy neutral pink (Limited Edition, Repromote)
- Social Light: Neutral pink with pearlized pigments (Limited Edition)
- Curvaceous: Light grey pink (Limited Edition)
- Plum Fun: Neutral plum with purple pearlized pigments (Limited Edition)
These glosses come in standard Lipglass packaging. The tube is a clear plastic and the wand has a doe-foot applicator.
Illicit is a soft orange color on the lips. Social Light is a pinky mauve with lots of pearlized pigments. Curvaceous is a standard but pretty greyish pink. Plum Fun is a medium plum with subtle pearlized pigments.
All of these colors are semi-opaque and glide on smoothly. Like with all Lipglasses, these glosses aren’t too sticky, but do have some tackiness to them. You’ll get 2-3 hours of wear if you’re not eating or drinking.
The most difficult color to wear will be Illicit because of its unflattering orange tone. Despite MAC’s description of this color as a “neutral pink,” there is little-to-no pink hue to it.
Ease of Use: 9.25/10
Application is straight-forward. The formula glides on easily and you can layer to build up each color.
These are the same size (0.17 oz) and price ($14.50) as other MAC Lipglasses.
