This review covers MAC’s 3 MAC Me Over Lipglass lip glosses from Part III of the collection.
- The Wee Coquette: Naked neutral pink (Limited Edition, Repromote)
- Good Times: Pale mauve (Limited Edition)
- Spite: Muted plum taupe brown (Permanent)
These glosses come in standard Lipglass packaging. The tube is a clear plastic and the wand has a doe-foot applicator.
The Wee Coquette is a very light neutral pink color–so light that it ends up looking like a soft white color on the lips. Good Times is also a soft, pale pinky mauve. Spite is a darker, taupe-based pink.
All of these colors are semi-sheer and glide on smoothly. Like with all Lipglasses, these glosses aren’t too sticky, but do have some tackiness to them. You’ll get 2-3 hours of wear if you’re not eating or drinking.
The most difficult color to wear is The Wee Coquette because it’s very light.
Ease of Use: 9/10
Application is straight-forward. The formula glides on easily and you can layer to build up each color.
Be careful with The Wee Coquette–because it’s so light, it will look streaky if you don’t apply it carefully.
These are the same size (0.17 oz) and price ($14.50) as other MAC Lipglasses.
