MAC doesn’t claim that these lip pencils will last for a specific number of hours, but does claim they are “longwearing” and will “adhere instantly.” The pencil does adhere very well to the skin and will stay on the lips for 5-6 hours if you don’t eat or drink.
The formula is dry, so you’ll want to apply a balm over the pencil.

Because the formula is dry, these drag a little on the skin. Make sure your lips are moisturized before you apply these pencils and put a balm on top.
