This is a review for Milani’s Metallic Baked Eyeshadow in the color “Rich Java.” These shadows cost approximately $7.00 at your local drugstore, Target, or WalMart.
Captivating eyeshadow powder that features multiple infusions of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Metallic eyeshadows contain richly refined color intense metallic pigments. All of these gorgeous combinations are designed to be used Wet or Dry.
Milani’s shadows come in plastic, domed compacts with snap-shut lids. The packaging is lightweight, but more bulky than necessary, given the size of the pan.
Rich Java is a deep brown color with tiny, silver and gold shimmers.
Even when used dry, the shadow is very pigmented; when used wet, the color is even more intense. This is a beautiful color that you can use for both a smokey look or as an eye liner.
The formula glides on evenly and smoothly and is long-wearing over a primer.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
Like Milani claims, you can use this shadow wet or dry. The pigment glides on smoothly and evenly.
These shadows are 1.5 g and cost around $7.00. For comparison, Palladio baked shadows are of similar size, quality, and price.
