Review: Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil

This is a review for Organix’s Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil. This product is available at drugstores, Target, and WalMart for around $8.

Company’s Description

This rare, ultra light weight formula is nature’s secret to silky perfection! Derived from the southwest region of Morocco, argan oil instantly penetrates the hair shaft to seal in shine and protect from styling heat and UV damage. Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil fights frizz, strengthens and moisturizes dry, brittle hair to give you smooth sexy tresses.

Packaging: 8.5/10

This hair oil comes in a tube-like container that you squeeze to get the product out. The flip-up top is secure, but I wish the opening was a little smaller so you could better control how much product comes out.

Quality: 8.5/10

This treatment has a nice, light, pleasant scent.

The product feels like a thin oil. It’s lightweight and doesn’t weigh your hair down. I have very thin hair, so having a product that isn’t heavy is important.

This product does soften my hair and gives it a little bit of shine. I don’t see it giving any UV or styling heat protection, since there aren’t any ingredients that would protect from UV damage.

Ease of Use: 9/10

Applying is easy. Just squeeze out several drops from the tube, and smooth it through your hair. The only negative is that you’ll get too much product out of the tube if you’re not careful to tip over the container slowly.

Price: 8.75/10

Since Organix’s Argan Oil Renewing Treatment is 8 fl oz and also $8, I feel like $8 for this 3.3 fl oz oil is a little expensive. But when you compare this price to other brands that sell argan oils, $8 is a very good price.

Toss if: you want a hair oil that provides UV protection
Try if: you have normal-to-oily hair and want a hair oil for your dry ends
Buy if: you have fine hair and want a lightweight oil

I agree. This can be a bit messy. I wish they could’ve had it in a pump or something. I also have the Treatment as well.

  2. Cindy says:

    everyoen should use

  3. Lisa B. says:

The reasonable price is nice, but does it soak in fast? Do you apply it to your scalp at all or do you have to avoid the scalp?

    • Allura says:

It settles in quickly and is not greasy, so I do apply a little to my scalp.

    • Nana says:

I have been using this and the shampoos and have noticed my hair getting actively thicker, perhaps because it’s opening follicles up. For the oil, pour a little in your palm, rub your palms together and massage into the ends of your hair, then smooth a little into the top. My hair has NEVER been this silky and shiny!

I bought this product recently and I LOVE it. I have been battling dry hair for a long time and this product really does the job. Compared to other products with Moroccan oil, this product is very reasonable.

  5. Linda says:
