Unique gel cream formula glides-on effortlessly and smoothly while providing the definition of a liquid eyeliner. Stackable eyeliner pots can be pulled apart for individual use on-the-go.
Physicians Formula sells stacks of cream liners that contain 3 colors, customized for different eye colors: Brown, Hazel, Blue, and Green. Here, I review the Shimmer Strip for blue eyes.
The Shimmer Strip sets come with 3 plastic jars, each with different colors in them. You can twist each jar individually to open it and stack the jars how you please. The great thing about this packaging is that each jar has a separate lid instead of using the base of the jar above as a lid. This means you can stack as many as you want together or simply take one color for traveling purposes.
The set also comes with a liner brush that is flat and has a domed shape.
The formula is very creamy and smudge-resistant once it dries.
The Blue set comes with a silver, a shimmery navy blue and a black liner. The silver color has strong color and a very shimmery finish. The blue doesn’t go on opaquely, so the color shows up weaker than the others. The black isn’t the blackest cream liner out there, but does have great intensity. The black color is also matte.
You can also use the silver and blue colors as crease-resistant cream bases.
Ease of Use: 9/10
The brush that comes with this kit works well for lining the eyes. It would be even easier to control the line you apply if the brush were shorter and more stiff.
The liners themselves glide on effortlessly, but you will need to layer the blue to build up the color.
You get a total of 6 grams of product for under $11.
