Stackable eyeliner pots can be pulled apart for individual use on-the-go.
Physicians Formula sells stacks of cream liners that contain 3 colors, customized for different eye colors: Brown, Hazel, Blue, and Green. Here, I review the Shimmer Strip for hazel eyes.
The Shimmer Strip sets come with 3 plastic jars, each with different colors in them. You can twist each jar individually to open it and stack the jars how you please. The great thing about this packaging is that each jar has a separate lid instead of using the base of the jar above as a lid. This means you can stack as many as you want together or simply take one color for traveling purposes.
The set also comes with a liner brush that is flat and has a domed shape.
The formula is very creamy and glides easily onto the skin.
The Hazel set comes with a silver, a shimmery pale lilac and a black liner with silver shimmers. The silver color is not strong in color or as opaque as the silver that comes with the Blue set. The lilac has a silver sheen and the color is subtle. The black is quite strong and opaque.
You can also use the silver and lilac colors as shadow bases or subtle colors on their own, but they are not fully crease-resistant.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The brush that comes with this kit works well for lining the eyes. It would be even easier to control the line you apply if the brush were shorter and more stiff.
The liners themselves glide on effortlessly, but you will need to layer both the silver and lilac to build up the color. Even with layering, you won’t get intense color out of them.
You get a total of 6 grams of product for under $11.
