Review & Swatches: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in “Cupcake”

Revlon has just released a new line of lip products: Colorburst Lip Butters. This review is for the Lip Butter in “Cupcake.”

The packaging for Revlon’s lip butters is the same as for the original Colorburst lipsticks except that the plastic covering for the lip butters is semi-opaque.

Quality: 9.25/10

Cupcake is a light baby pink with a bit of shimmer. The color is pale, so be careful to not over-do it and wash out your face.

The formulation is soft, smooth, and emollient. Although the product applies like a chapstick, the color is good.

This is a great moisturizing lip color, but it doesn’t give your lips any sun protection.

Ease of Use: 9.75/10

This product goes on smoothly and effortlessly. The color shows up on the first swipe and can be intensified with additional layers.
