Pout paint is the new ultimate lip pigment that provides a blast of colour in one purse sized tube! The intensely saturated formula provides outstanding colour pay-off in just one tiny speck, and dries to a long lasting satiny finish. With a wide variety of Pout Paints to choose from you can mix up your very own unique shade using a combination of colours, or simply go for one stand out striking pop of colour.
Sleek’s Pout Paints come in 11 shades. Minx, a pale peachy-pink color, is reviewed here.
Pout Paints come in small squeeze tubes that have small openings, which allows good control over how much product you dispense.
This product’s consistency feels like a thick gloss. The formula isn’t sticky at all and applies more like a cream than a gloss would.
The pigmentation is extremely strong. If you apply a small amount of product, you can sheer out the completely opaque effect on the lips. If you want a completely opaque finish, you can easily get it, but the effect does look more unnatural.
The formula gives a medium amount of moisture to the lips. With a thin layer, the color doesn’t accentuate lip-lines, but it does seem to settle a little into lines upon layering.
Minx is much longer-wearing than your typical lip gloss, and color remains on the lips even after a majority of the actual product has worn off.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
Surprisingly, these are easy to apply with your finger, even given the intense pigmentation. You can also use a lip or concealer brush to create more precise lines.
You should also shake the tube vigorously before dispensing the product. The oil separates from the pigment over time if the product is left sitting.
For just $8.00, you get 0.27 fl oz. A very similar product by OCC–Lip Tars–are the same size but cost $13.00.
