Company’s Description

Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made M·A·C famous.

This review is for the 3 new Lipsticks releasing with MAC’s upcoming Naturally Collection. This post includes photographs and swatches of the following colors:

  • A Perfect Day (amplified): Light neutral pink
  • Beach Sand (cremesheen): Light tan
  • Sweet Sunrise (lustre): Light neutral peach-pink

Pillow Talk is also included in this collection, but is not a new color.

Packaging: 9/10

These lipsticks come in standard MAC packaging. The tubes are made of plastic and can easily be taken on-the-go.

Quality: 8.8/10

A Perfect Day is a light, pinky peach and has an almost-opaque finish.

Beach Sand is a nude that leans significantly toward beige. You’ll need to be careful with this color to make sure it doesn’t make your face look sickly.

Sweet Sunrise is a pale, milky pink color that has a less opaque finish compared to the other 2 lipsticks. The result pales out the lips, so make sure this isn’t too light of a color for you.

All of these colors glided onto the skin easily. The colors are all neutral (which is this collection’s goal).

Ease of Use: 9/10

The formula isn’t the creamiest I’ve come across in MAC’s line (think MAC’s Iris Apfel matte lipsticks), but are certainly soft enough to glide easily across the skin and layer without a lot of tugging.

Price: 9/10

These are the same size (3 g) as regular MAC lipsticks and cost $14.50 each.

  1. Annie says:

Would Perfect Day and Beach Nude work as nudes on a very pink toned NW25-30 complexion or would they wash me out? And is beach nude really yellow?

    • Allura says:

Well, any nude color has the risk of washing you out. I would need to actually see your skin to tell. But I will say that if you are NW, Perfect Day would probably work better than Beach Nude (it would look too warm on your skin).

  2. Sthobbie says:

I love the colors but rather see a more creamy formula

  3. Lisa B. says:

They all look nice, but not too exciting…I feel like we see these all the time…
