Company’s Description
“Envision your lips as a canvas for the most beautiful of jewels to cover. My lips are my showcase, the most important area for a delicate balance of color and sparkle. A micro powder extraction from my most coveted gemstones combines with the natural healing properties of shea butter and grape seed oil to turn your lips into softly-carved precious jewels.”
XOXO, Tarina Tarantino
Tarina Tarantino’s Sparklicity Glosses come in 6 colors. Kosmonaut, a plum wine with iridescent shimmers, is reviewed here.
Packaging: 9/10
Sparklicity glosses come in clear, plastic squeeze tubes and have slanted applicators.
Quality: 9.5/10
In the tube, Kosmonaut is a rich berry wine color packed with silver shimmers. Once applied to the lips, the color is more sheer and the sparkles are more widely distributed.
Because it is semi-sheer, the color is very wearable and will suit many skin colors. What makes this lipgloss so beautiful is the prevalence of shimmers. They bring a sparkle to the lips without looking tacky or gaudy.
The formula is not sticky and does a good job of moisturizing the lips. Because it isn’t sticky, the gloss will last for about 2 hours before wearing off (if you aren’t drinking or eating).
Ease of Use: 10/10
The sheerness of the color makes application simple. You don’t need to be precise or stand in front of a mirror. Taking off the lipgloss is also easy and, surprisingly, the shimmers don’t stick everywhere.
Price: 9/10
For $14.00, you get 12.75 grams of lipgloss. As a rough comparison, MAC’s Clear Lipglass is $14.50 and contains 14.17 grams (but, as the name suggests, has no color).
The colour looked quite burgundy and since I’m pale-skinned, I’m very worried about pulling off deep reds, plums and purples.
BUT on your lips it looks so pretty and honestly, quite incredible!
Thanks for the review!!

I do love slant-tip applicators. I’d consider trying this since you said the sparkles don’t travel all over!
