This winter, let yourself be charmed by these 3 mini nail polishes. A different color to express a different mood.
– Red Berry, an intense red lacquer for a totally feminine look.
– Chestnut for an ultra trendy and sophisticated look.
– Gold Glitter can be used by itself or as a top-coat over your usual nail polish for a dazzling party look.
You won’t be able to resist these mini-sized nail polishes that will add a colourful touch to your winter season.
Yves Rocher’s holiday 2011 collection contains 3 nail polishes, of which Red Berry and Chestnut are reviewed, here.
These polishes come in teeny, tiny glass bottles. The brushes are so tiny, in fact, that it’s actually a tad difficult to use them for application.
Red Berry is a festive, warm red and Chestnut is a very deep brown that appears almost black on the nails.
The pigmentation for these polishes is excellent. With Red Berry I needed only 1 layer and with Chestnut, I could also get away with a single layer.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
You feel a little like Alice in Wonderland using these small brushes and sometimes you have to swipe multiple times to cover an area because the small brush doesn’t drag the polish very far. On the other hand, the good pigmentation means you don’t have to wait to apply a second layer.
For $2.95, you get 0.1 fl oz. For $15.00, MAC polishes give you 0.34 fl oz. Even though these bottle appear miniscule, you are getting a good price for the amount of polish and you actually have a chance of using up the whole bottle.
