Tutorial: MAC Wonder Woman Eye Shadow Quad Looks

Here are 4 looks using each of the quads from the MAC Wonder Woman collection. You can also read the review on these quads and view pictures and swatches of the products.

Defiance Look

Apply an eyeshadow primer all over the lid, up to the brow. Use a fluffy brush to apply Defiance under the brow as a highlight.

Then, use a dense, flat eye shadow brush and apply Paradise Island to the lid and into the crease. Apply 3 layers to get the color to show up.

Use a wide, fluffy crease brush to apply Star Studded into the crease and blend by wiping the brush back and forth in the crease. Take a narrow, pointy, dense eye pencil brush or liner brush to apply Star Studded to the lower lash-line and inner corner, making sure the color connects to the lid at both corners of the eye.

Take a narrower crease brush and apply Real Drama to the outer- and inner-V of your eyelid. Make sure Real Drama and Star Studded are blended together in the crease area by sweeping a fluffy eye shadow brush between the two colors. Using an eyeliner brush, use Real Drama as an eyeliner.

Re-apply Paradise Island to the center part of your eyelid; the pigment will probably have faded from the blending you’ve done up to this point.

Apply Urban Decay’s eye pencil in 1999 (or any other purple eye pencil) to the lower water-line. Last, apply mascara.

Lady Justice Looks

Look #1

This look is suitable for everyday wear.

Apply an eyeshadow primer all over the lid, up to the brow. Use a fluffy brush to apply Lady Justice under the brow as a highlight.

Then, use a dense, flat eye shadow brush and apply Insurmountable to the lid and into the crease. Apply 2 or more layers to intensify the color.

Use a wide, fluffy crease brush to apply Bold Babe into the crease and blend by wiping the brush back and forth in the crease. Apply just 1-2 layers to keep the look subtle and good for day-wear.

Apply Urban Decay Zero eye liner (or any black liner) lightly to the outer half of your lash-line. Last, apply mascara.

Look #2

This is a more dramatic look you can achieve with just a few additional steps. First, follow the steps from Look #1.

Take a narrower crease brush to add another layer of Bold Babe to your outer eye corner.

Then, add Lady Justice to the inner corners of your lid as an additional highlighter.

Next, use a pointed, short eye pencil brush or a small eye liner brush to apply Deep Truth to the lower lash-line, from one corner of the lash-line to the other.

Add another layer of mascara. As an optional step, you can dust some of Lady Justice onto the lashes for a sparkle.

Valiant Look

Eyes Urban Decay eye shadow primer, MAC Valiant quad, MAC Technakohl liner in Jade Way, Maybelline One by One mascara

Apply an eyeshadow primer all over the lid, up to the brow. Use a fluffy brush to apply Manila Paper under the brow as a highlight.

Then, use a dense, flat eye shadow brush and apply Valiant to the lid and into the crease. Apply 2 or more layers to intensify the color. Also apply Valiant to the inner corners and to the inner half of the lower lash-line.

Use a wide, fluffy crease brush to apply Spinning Transformation into the crease and blend by wiping the brush back and forth in the crease. You will probably have to apply 2 layers and be patient with the blending.

Take a narrower crease brush and apply Diana Undercover to the outer-V of your eyelid and to the outer half of the lower lash-line, connecting it with where Valiant ends on your lash-line. Using an eyeliner brush, use Diana Undercover as an eyeliner.

Re-apply Valiant to the center part of your eyelid; the pigment will probably have faded from the blending you’ve done up to this point.

Apply MAC’s Technakohl Jade Way (or any other green eye pencil) to the lower water-line. Last, apply mascara. (In the first picture, below, I do not have mascara on.)

I really like that you don’t just rewrite what [others say] about products but have your own opinion and I love that you do tutorials with the products you bought, which is much too rare to find I think.
