I went to the launch party last night and I was so disappointed with this collection. You could barely move around because Mac let too many people in at a time. To the products…the eye shadows were gritty and had no resemblance to veluxe pearls. The lipsticks can be easily duped, and the packaging looks hokey. Very disappointed.

I went to the launch last weekend in orlando florida ,and I bought the beauty powder the pink blush and showgirl eye shadow and the sparkly lip gloss and pure zen and the red pink lipstick, I love them all

What does it mean when you say “repromote” & “permanent” ?
Repromote means it is a color that has been a part of previous collection. Permanent means it’s a product/color that you can always buy as part of MAC’s line–it’s not unique to the collection.

Will Pro Members be able to use their discount on this collection?
I highly doubt it. MAC will have to pay for the rights to use her image on the packaging, so they’ll pass that cost onto the customer.
I was hoping that the colors would be a little more soft…some of those lipsticks shades aren’t really wearable for daytime looks.
Is it just me or do those eyeshadows seem to be the larger size?
It looks like it may be the Pro Longwear shadows.
The price doesn’t really reflect that though.
Probably because that will not be the price.
I’m not impressed with the packaging. I expected something way better, like a sparkly silver.
I didn’t expect them to put a photo of her on the packaging. It’s doesn’t look refined.
Is this going to be in special packaging? I hope so.

This is exciting. A very high bar for MAC to set for themselves. Will be interesting to see if they can meet the expectations that a collection of this namesake inspires.
