J’adore this lash! The wispy, multi length hair clusters coupled with a soft curl creates lovely volume and length. Pure perfection!
Faux is an online fake eyelashes company that offers over 2 dozen lash designs. This review is for the Chloe set. Keep reading for my thoughts on these lashes and close-up photos.
Chloe is a set of very whispy lashes. They are pretty thinly spaced and the length of the lashes increases as you move from the inner part of the lash to the outer part of the lash. They give your lashes a lot of length, as opposed to volume.
The length of the lashes, once you get to the outer corner of the lash, is very dramatic. I wore these at CosmoProf (a cosmetics trade show), which takes place during the day. And even though CosmoProf is in Las Vegas, I still felt that the lashes were bordering on too lengthy for daytime.
I notice 2 unique things about the Chloe lashes. First, the band isn’t so long that they require cutting. With almost every other set of lashes I’ve used, I’ve had to cut them to fit on my eyes. The Chloe lashes could have taken a tiny bit of cutting, but it wasn’t necessary, and I wore them as-is. Second, the lash band is clear. This is good for those who want to wear an eyeliner in a non-black shade.
The Chloe lash is made of synthetic (plastic-like) material. And, honestly, I did find that the lashes irritated my eyes a little as the day progressed. My key suggestion to avoid this kind of irritation is to make sure you cut the lashes to exactly the length of your lash-line and to not place the band too close to the inner corner of the eyes.
The Chloe lashes also have a very nice curl to them, so you’ll probably need to curl your lashes together with the false ones so that you don’t see 2 layers of lashes.
Even if you’re a little rough with these lashes, you’ll get a minimum of 3 uses out of them. More realistically, if you take care of them by being gentle and storing them safely, you can get a good 10 uses out of them.
