Company’s Description
For shading or blending of colour or creamy products. This brush has fine, densely packed fibers that are arranged in an oval shape. M·A·C professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest quality materials. They feature wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
This review is for MAC’s 217 Blending Brush, which MAC says is suited for blending both powder and cream products. Keep reading for my thoughts about the quality of this brush.
This brush is flat and domed. The bristles measure about 1.5 cm long. The bristles are packed in a medium-dense manner and the brush overall has a little bit of stiffness to it. The bristles are fairly soft on the skin.
I like this brush in particular because it’s narrow and actually applies quite a thin line of shadow into the crease. This is particularly nice to have because I have a relatively small crease area. The brush is both stiff enough to lay down a narrow line of color but flexible enough to blend out eye shadow too. The brush can also be used for both powder and cream products.
I have no problems with the bristles shedding during use or washing.
This is THE BRUSH!!! <3
