Company’s Description
Soft and dense to shade or blend eye shadow or emollient-based products. This brush has a tapered, rounded edge with smooth, firm, fine fibres. It can be used to build intense colour on the eyelid. M·A·C professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest quality materials. They feature wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
This review is for MAC’s 239 Blending Brush, which MAC says is suited for using with both powder and emollient-based products. Keep reading for my thoughts about the quality of this brush.
This brush is flat, narrow and slightly curved. The bristles are short, measuring about 1 cm long. The bristles are quite densely packed and the brush is slightly stiff.
This brush makes a very narrow line when used on its tip and is great for packing color onto the lid, whether the shadow is a powder or a cream. The brush is honestly quite narrow, so the color will get put onto the skin in very small parts. It also works well for creating a crease-cut type line.
I have no problems with the bristles shedding during use or washing.
