Limited Edition shades. Won’t crease or fade. Stays color true for hours!
Avon’s True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Attraction releases with its Femme Fatale Collection. This quad includes the following four (4) shades: shell, khaki crave, hot and spicy, and inky blue.
This quad comes in a square compact made of light-weight, reflective black plastic. The compact snaps shut and contains a full-sized mirror inside.
The colors in this quad have good pigmentation. They aren’t the most vibrant or opaque, but they work very well for a more natural eye look. The four (4) shades also work well with each other, giving you either a neutral daytime eye or more smoky nighttime eye look.
The powder formula is just slightly stiff, which means the blending of the shades isn’t completely smooth, but is pretty close to it. The wear of the shadows is a little shorter than average: about four (4) hours before creasing over a bare lid and five (5) hours before creasing over primer. The colors also start to fade around the fourth hour of wear.
I actually really enjoy using this quad. The slightly stiffer formula and colors make it easy to sport a natural eye look for work. But, objectively speaking, the formula could be more creamy and more long-wearing.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The shadows apply easily onto the skin. The only extra work you have to do is to spend a little more time blending the powders into the crease to get a smooth layer of color.
Technically, this quad retails for $9.00 (which is already a really good deal), but Avon almost always has its items on sale (right now, for $5.99). You get four shades and 0.2 ounces (5.6 grams) of product. This is a fantastic deal.
