An award-winning, editors’ favorite and BECCA bestseller, this blendable crème stain tints lips and cheeks with a natural, believable wash of water-resistant colour.
Becca’s Beach Tints function as both lip and cheek colors. They currently come in nine (9) shades. This review is for the shade Dragonfruit–a poppy pink color.
Beach Tints come in opaque, plastic squeeze-tubes with a narrow opening and twist-off cap.
Dragonfruit is a bright, pigmented shade that applies strongly but can be controlled to be more sheer or more opaque depending on how much product you use and how much you buff it into the skin.
This product has a gel, somewhat mousse-like formula. It doesn’t bring moisture to the skin, so you might want to apply a clear gloss or balm on top when using this on your lips. It does make my lips look a tad dried out, so I prefer to set it with a clear balm. On the cheeks, the formula has a velvety/matte texture, but doesn’t make the skin seem dry.
The shade stays vibrant for a good six (6) hours on the cheeks before showing signs of fading. On the lips, I get about two (2) hours of wear before the shade fades.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The mousse-like formula isn’t the best at blending out evenly, but it’s quite easy to make smooth with just a little bit of blending. For the lips, just dab the product on with your fingers.
For $25 you get 0.24 fl. oz. (7 ml) of product.
