This shimmering, brush-on powder creates a soft, warm pink glow. Works well with neutral and pink blush shades.
Bobbi Brown’s infamous Shimmer Bricks are highlighting and blush colors and are available in several permanent and limited-edition shades. This shade Beige includes five (5) bars of pure pearl color for shimmering lids and glowing cheeks.
Shimmer Bricks come in glossy, black, rectangular, plastic compacts. The compact has a snap-shut lid that flips open to reveal a mirror inside. Though on the bulky side, this compact is quite light-weight.
Beige contains five (5) colored, shimmery strips: pale yellow-gold, light tan-champagne, tan, champagne, and beige-tan. You can use these shades individually for an eye look or together as a highlighter. When mixed together, you get more of a tan-champagne shimmer. Beige could also be used as an all-over cheek color, all-over luminizing color, and bronzing cheek color.
The shimmer particles are very small, so you get a wonderfully refined sheen to the skin without any chunky glitter bits.
The powder glides across the skin and blends beautifully. You can layer the powder or use it wet to get a more intense sheen to the skin. If you have oily or mature skin, this product’s shimmery quality is probably best passed up for a more subtle liquid or cream luminizer.
The powder adheres very well to the skin, so you shouldn’t have any problems with the product fading as the day goes on.
Ease of Use: 10/10
This shade is effortless to use. It will pair with any skin tone and blends across the skin smoothly. You can use the powder wet for a more intense, liquid-metallic effect.
