Company’s Description
Felt tip eyeliner. Lasts up to 24 hours. Smoothly glide lineblast 24HR to design your eye look that lasts for up to 24 hours! Our long lasting formula will get you noticed for up to 24 hours.
CoverGirl’s newest eye liner comes in 2 shades (a black and a brown) in a liquid formula and a felt-tip applicator. The company claims the liner lasts “up to” 24 hours. The color in Eternal Brown is reviewed here.
Packaging: 9.75/10
This liner comes in plastic, bullet-shaped packaging. The cap twists off to reveal the liner, which utilizes a felt-tip applicator. The packaging is small and very portable.
Quality: 9.8/10
Because of the liquid formula, you get a consistent flow of liner and fairly opaque line.
This is a medium-dark brown with a slight sheen finish. It is also very long-wearing. I can’t say whether it actually lasts 24 hours because I would never (voluntarily) wear any sort of makeup for a full 24 hours. But I can say that this liner lasts all day long (a good 12 hours) without any sort of fading or smudging.
Ease of Use: 9.8/10
I’m not the best at applying liquid liners and usually opt for pencils or application with a thin, angled brush. So, when I saw the felt tip on this liner, I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to use. Surprisingly, this liner is extremely easy to use–the easiest liquid liner I’ve used so far. It is even easier to use than liners with thinner applicators. You get a very precise line and a smooth application.
Price: 8.5/10
For $7.99, you get 0.02 fl oz of liner. This is an average-to-lower-than-average price point for liquid liners, but this liner also contains less product than other liners.
Ooh. Spectacular! I was considering a MAC liquid liner next (or possibly one of the Japanese brands like Dolly Wink)…but there’s no reason not to try this one, especially for the price! Thank you, thank you for this review!
