Company’s Description

Rich and creamy HD Blush naturally sculpts and highlights the cheekbones for a soft-focus effect that is great for everyday use. The Vitamin E enriched formula conditions and hydrates the skin for a healthy, radiant glow. Velvety soft, lightweight and highly pigmented color creates a long-lasting result for all day wear.

e.l.f. has added five (5) new shades of its new HD Blushes, which are now part of the company’s Studio line. This review is specifically for the shade Headliner–a medium carnation pink.

Packaging: 9.25/10

This blush comes in a clear, cylindrical, plastic tube and has a cap that surrounds a pump applicator. The bottle is very light.

Quality: 9.8/10

Headliner is an intensely pigmented shade. It is completely opaque unless you use a small amount of product and spread the product out over the skin. Luckily, the cream formula for this blush does thin out over the skin smoothly and evenly if you use a small dab of product.

The blush leaves a velvety finish on the skin–not completely matte but also not reflecting light.

The blush stays strong all day without fading or becoming patchy, so you can expect it to look the same after the sixth hour of wear.

Ease of Use: 9/10

The product, despite it opaque quality, blends out over the skin smoothly and easily. Make sure to use a very small amount of product at a time. I’ve found that using a duo-fiber brush helps to distribute the product thinly.

The only criticism I have is that it’s difficult to get a tiny amount of product out of the pump at a time.

Price: 10/10

For $3.00 you get 0.34 fl oz of product. This is an amazing price given how much blush you get.

This the first review I have viewed from Allura Beauty and have to commend you on the precise descriptions & commentary. Some reviewers on YouTube ramble on and take forever to get to the point. For people who have subscribed to their site and have formed a personal (virtual) relationship and have similar likes this is great. I have my own favorites. But sometimes consumers aren’t looking for someone’s life story just the information on a product which you seem to have accomplished with this review. I look forward to watching your other reviews accessing other products and your unbiased personal opinions.
