This foundation comes in a rectangular, glass bottle that has a twist-off cap. The cap is connected to a spatula that allows you to place the foundation on an artist’s palette or the back of your hand. It’s not as sanitary as having a pump dispenser, but is more sanitary than having a jar container without the spatula.
Quality: 10/10
Face Stockholm’s matte foundation has a thin, liquid formula that blends easily and sinks into the skin. The foundation gives medium and slightly build-able coverage. Oyster is a great color for NC20 skin.
So far, this foundation is the best I’ve seen when it comes to leaving a matte finish without making the skin look flat. There is no cakey surface and it doesn’t make the skin look dry. The foundation effectively keeps a shiny/oily look at bay but still lets your natural skin texture show. The foundation is long-wearing and doesn’t break down, even after 6 hours of wear.
The bonus is that this foundation contains Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate) and Retinyl Palmitate–great anti-oxidants for the skin. Companies so rarely take the opportunity to put skincare ingredients into foundations. It is refreshing to see Face Stockholm making a foundation that is not only high-quality but also benefits your skin!
