Highlight your cheekbones, shape your face, and build and blend with fingers or a brush to create the color intensity you desire. Use over foundation for impact or under for a captivating glow. However you apply it, be daring.
Illamasqua’s Cream Blushers are available in a dozen different shades. This review is for the shade Lies–a light pearly pink.
Illamasqua’s Cream Blushers come in black, pinched-square, plastic compacts that snap shut and have see-through lids.
Lies is a light pink shade with a pearlescent quality that allows the shade to act both as a luminizer and as a blush. The shade isn’t so shimmery that you can’t use it all over the cheeks. At the same time, it’s not so pigmented that you can’t just use it as a subtle highlighter.
The formula is wonderfully creamy. It blends over the skin evenly and gives you a subtle, healthy glow. If you want a stronger highlighting effect to the cheeks, add a highlighter on top.
The product wears very well throughout the day too–I don’t have any problems with the color fading over time.
Ease of Use: 10/10
The light pigmentation and finely milled quality of the shimmer particles makes this an extremely easy cheek shade to use. The color stays smooth and even through the blending process.
For $26.00 you get 4 grams (0.14 ounces) of blush. MAC Cremeblend Blushes are $20.00 and contain 5.6 grams (0.19 ounces) of product. NARS Cream Blushes are $28.00 and contain 5.5 grams (0.19 ounces). You get a better deal compared to NARS, but pay more compared to MAC.
