Review & Swatches: Illamasqua Human Fundamentalism Nail Varnish in “Stance”

Illamasqua Human Fundamentalism Nail Varnish in Stance

Availability: Sephora
Price: $14.00

Company’s Description

A spectrum of bold shades with a range of finishes including matte, rubber and high-gloss. Award-winning, extremely hardwearing and chip-resistant, there’s an Illamasqua Nail Varnish for every shade of humanity. Apply two coats for intensity and use with Illamasqua Nail Base Coat and Illamasqua Nail Top Coat for the perfect finish.

Illamasqua’s Human Fundamentalism collection will release 2 new nail polish colors. This review is for the nail varnish in Stance–a mix of violet and fuchsia.

Packaging: 9/10

This nail polish comes in a glass, rectangular jar and has a long, synthetic brush.

Quality: 9.8/10

Stance is a vibrant color that’s great for Spring.

The best thing about this polish is that you can wear it with a single coat, which goes on nearly opaquely. Of course, you can also apply multiple coats. Either way, this very pretty color leaves a glossy finish.

Ease of Use: 9.75/10

This color has a great formula that applies easily without any streakiness.

Price: 7/10

For $14.00 you get 15 ml of polish. MAC polishes cost $16.00 and contain 10 ml. I still think $14.00 is a very high price to pay for a single nail polish, but you at least get 50% more for less money with Illamasqua’s polishes.
