Treat and illuminate! This lifting, illuminating pencil of light will be your new best friend! Wherever you apply this pencil, the micronized pigments instantly make that area look more lifted and youthful.
This review is for it Cosmetics’ Brow Power Lift–a pencil that can be used to highlight any part of the face for a brightening effect. The pencil has 2 ends. One side is pearlized and the other is matte.
The Brow Power Lift comes with a double-ended highlighting pencil and a sharpener. Each end of the pencil has a plastic cover.
The matte end is a pinky nude while the shimmery side is a frosty, shimmery, light pink.
The formula is soft and creamy, gliding onto the skin without resistance.
Both sides function as good highlighters. You can use the matte end for more natural highlighting and the shimmery end for more dramatic emphasis. The matte end will tend to “brighten” while the shimmery end will “illuminate.”
The matte color is strongly pink and cool-toned, though, so this color might not work if you have yellow-based or warm-toned skin. The shimmery side has a color more universally suitable. Both colors are most suitable for people with medium-to-fair skin because they are light.
If used on the lids, these will crease fairly quickly. When used on other parts of the face, they wear well and last throughout the day.
Ease of Use: 10/10
This product is simple to use because of its pencil form and gives you very precise application, allowing you to cover small areas like the bridge of the nose or the cupid’s bow. The creamy formula glides on smoothly without having to tug at the skin.
