Its unique handle is not only feminine and pretty; it is also easy to grip. This 100% cruelty-free high-quality brush is ultra-luxurious in feel and allows for flawless application. The ultra-plush brush hair count sets a new standard for quality and makes for the most effective distribution of blush! Plus the extremely soft bristles are great for even the most sensitive skin!
It Cosmetics’ French Boutique Blush Brush is an angled powder brush. See my thoughts on the brush and photos, below!
This brush has synthetic bristles and a slanted, angled shape. It is a medium-sized brush that’s approximately 1 1/4 inches wide. The bristles aren’t densely packed and are about 1 1/2 inch long at one end, and about 1 inch long at the shorter end. If find that this brush is slightly on the flimsy side. I’d prefer the bristles to be shorter so that the brush were more stiff.
This brush should be used with pressed or loose powder. It’s good for applying blush, though a denser placement of bristles would help ensure a more even finish when it comes to applying bright, vibrant-colored blushes. The brush is also good for applying highlighter, bronzer, or for dusting the face with setting powder.
The bristles are thin, so while the brush isn’t scratchy, I do find that the feel of the brush on the skin is less smooth than with many of it Cosmetics’ other brushes. I don’t have any problems with the bristles falling out.
$34.50 is pretty close to the price for MAC’s angled brush (which is $35.00). I have MAC’s 168 Brush, and I feel these two are very comparable in terms of quality.
