It Cosmetic’s Vitality Lip Flush is a lip product that conditions, provides vitamins to the skin, and acts as a lip stain. This product comes in 3 shades. The shade Je Ne Sais Quois is reviewed below.
This lip product comes in a metallic, silver, plastic tube with a pink ring in the middle. The product twists up like a traditional lipstick. The inner tube is pink.
The company claims that this is a 4-in-1 product that acts as your lip balm, lip gloss, lipstick, and lip stain.
This product definitely functions as a lip balm and lip stain. It has probably the most moisturizing formula I’ve come across. It feels thin and lightweight on the lips and has no stickiness. It is unbelievably emollient, making the skin soft and smooth. The ingredients also provide some benefits in the form of vitamins for the skin.
At first, the product goes on clear. After 3-4 seconds, it turns a flush of pink that darkens the color of your lips slightly while looking completely natural. The color leaves a balm-like finish that isn’t as shiny as a lipgloss.
The pigmentation is too subtle for this product to qualify as a lipstick (at least as far as the shade Je Ne Sais Quois goes). But it does stain the skin slightly. The color is nothing dramatic and, therefore, the staining isn’t dramatic either. But the color does persist even after the formula has worn off.
I get about 2.5 hours of wear before needing to re-apply.
I only wish this product had sun protection in it too!
Ease of Use: 10/10
This is the most simple lip product to use. It glides onto the skin with zero tugging and the transparent color makes precise application unnecessary.
For $20.00 you get 0.11 ounces of product. A MAC lipstick is $14.50 for 0.10 ounces of product. The Vitality Lip Flush is certainly on the pricey side, though it does have the benefit of staining power, which you won’t find in a regular lipstick.
