Company’s Description
Add a natural, youthful touch of colour to the skin with Jemma Kidd Blushwear Crème Cheek Colour, with a flawless velvet powder finish. This lightweight, long-wear crème to powder blush works effortlessly over foundation or bare skin.
Jemma Kidd offers 3 cream blush shades in her Make Up School line (her JK line is sold at Target stores in the US). This review is for the Blushwear Crème Cheek Colour in PawPaw–a mid-toned apricot.
Packaging: 9/10
This product comes in a plastic compact with a clear, snap-shut lid that allows you to see the color inside.
Quality: 8/10
This cream blush has a smooth formula that blends fairly easily. The pigmentation is, at first, strong. But I found that as I blended it into the cheeks, the strength of the color seemed to fade, so the product required layering. The finish isn’t oily or greasy, though I wouldn’t say it exactly dried to a “powder” finish as the company claims.
The color seemed to fade as the day went on, so while I could tell the product was still on the skin, it lost its color.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
The product applies smoothly but requires layering to build up the color.
