Create effortlessly luminous looks that last. This cushiony, creamy powder allows for blendable, buildable coverage, and a brilliant finish. Marrying outstanding color with exceptionally long wear, this new generation of eye shadow delivers a vibrant, crease-free intensity.
Lancome’s newly-released Color Design Infinité products are cream-powder eye shadows that the company says are exceptionally long-wearing and crease-free. This review is for the shade Continuous Creme–a matte nude eggshell.
This eye shadow comes in a fairly hefty glass jar that has a twist-off, plastic lid. Inside, there is a stopper (just like with the L’Oreal Infallible Eye Shadows) that covers the eye shadow inside.
Continuous Creme is an eggshell cream color and is the only matte shade currently in the Color Design Infinité line. The color has good pigmentation and can work all over the eye, on the lid, under the lower lash-line for emphasis, under the brow, or even on the face for a subtle highlighting color.
The powder applies sheer at first, but is easily built up to a semi-opaque finish. The formula is smooth and blends evenly.
I haven’t seen this eye shadow live up to Lancome’s “exceptionally long wear” or “crease-free” claims. The formula lasts for a little-less-than-average amount of time on my lids before creasing, which is about four and a half (4.5) to five (5) hours.
Ease of Use: 9/10
This formula transfers easily onto the skin, blends out effortlessly, and can be layered without any fall-out.
For $24.50 you get 0.12 ounces of product. This is a good amount of product for the price point.
