Inkwell Waterproof Gel Eyeliner is one of the best, the silkiest and the most long-wearing gel-based liner you’ll ever get your hands on. A special gel silicon resin gives the no-budge, transfer-resistant formula its luxurious feel and crease-free finish. Unlike other gel liners that tend to dry out, Inkwell stays soft, moist and emollient, thanks to a well of skin-loving ingredients: VitaminE, Wheat Germ Oil and Jojoba Oil. You’ll love how easy it is to apply. And, once it sets, you’ll forget it’s even there.
Laura Geller’s newest gel eyeliner is said to be waterproof and comes in Black and Purple. The color Black–a deep, matte black–is reviewed, below.
You can read the review for this liner in Purple here.
This liner’s packaging provides you with not only the eye product but a perfectly functional brush too. The brush is housed in the handle of the jar. The top twists off to reveal the liner inside the pot.
This gel liner has a soft, creamy formula that applies very smoothly. The color is intense and opaque. The finish is matte but still reflects a little bit of light.
The liner is long-lasting and won’t smudge or flake, holding the product up to Laura Geller’s waterproof claims.
The brush is also high quality. It is small and very narrow, which gives you good control and a fine line. It could be a tad stiffer, but it’s easily a brush I would use with this product regularly.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
The smooth formula applies to the lid effortlessly without any dragging or skipping.
For $16.50 you get 2.5 grams (0.08 ounces) of product. MAC Fluidlines are $15.00 and contain 3 grams of product, so Laura Geller’s gel liner is on the pricier side.
