Company’s Description
A bronzing/luminizing palette made of a unique, baked formula containing light-reflecting properties. Four unique shades (from gilded gold to burnished bronze) that when blended together give the skin a healthy, youthful allover glow. Brighten eyes, cheeks, and body with a hint of natural color and light.
Laura Mercier’s Shimmer Blocs are powder highlighters and come in six (6) different shades. This review is for the Shimmer Bloc in Peach Mosaic, which includes golden pink, bronze, peach, and pearl shades.
Packaging: 9/10
This illuminator comes in a square, plastic compact that flips open and contains a full-sized mirror inside.
Quality: 9.75/10
Peach Mosaic has four (4) warm-toned shades that, when mixed together, give off a pale, translucent gold color on the first layer and a more peach-toned, pale gold color on the second layer.
The powder gives off a strong, but finely-milled sheen to the skin. You can use this powder wet or dry, with the colors deepening a little once applied wet. You can also use the colors as eye shadows as well as on the face.
The lasting power of the product is great. I don’t have any problems with the shimmer fading.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
This powder transfers effortlessly onto the skin and blends out smoothly. If anything, you need to be careful not to apply too much at a time because the effect can be very strong.
Price: 9.75/10
For $38.00 you get 0.21 ounces of product. Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Bricks cost $40.00 and contain 0.4 ounces of product.
