Company’s Description
Finally, the best-selling Tinted Moisturizer is available in a convenient compact! Laura’s latest innovation features a lightweight crème formula that gives skin a dewy, natural-looking flawless finish ideal for all skin types. With SPF 20 and a hint of color, this portable compact is perfect for travel and touch ups on the go. It’s a breakthrough for the Flawless Face!
Laura Mercier’s newest pan-form tinted moisturizer recently released at Sephora. The range includes twelve (12) shades. The shade depicted, below, and tested was Nude–light beige for fair to light skin tones.
Packaging: 9/10
This Tinted Moisturizer comes in pressed form and is housed inside a silver, round compact that flips open, contains a mirror inside and a compartment underneath the pan that holds a sponge applicator.
Quality: 9.8/10
The cream formula for this Tinted Moisturizer is silky and slightly slippery. The product imparts light to medium coverage–noticeably more than most tinted moisturizers on the market–and looks very natural and skin-like. The product will cover light imperfections, but if you have dark under-eye circles or obvious redness, you’ll likely need to touch up with concealer in those areas. It leaves a semi-matte finish that looks neither dry nor dewy. The shade Nude matched my skin perfectly. I’d recommend it for those with NC20 skin.
This tinted moisturizer is pleasant to wear. It feels light-weight and doesn’t break down, melt, or oxidize as the day goes by. The product is by no means as moisturizing as Laura Mercier’s original Tinted Moisturizer, which has a liquid formula. The Creme Compact will be a better option for those with combination or oily skin.
The winning feature of this product is its full-spectrum sun protection, provided by the active ingredients Avobenzone, Octisalate, and Octocrylene. Sun protection is a must-have in any skincare or foundation you are wearing during the day.
Ease of Use: 9.8/10
This tinted moisturizer is very easy to use. The cream formula glides over the skin and blends out smoothly.

For $45.00 you get 0.26 ounces of product. This is a very unique product because of its pan form. Compared to Laura Mercier’s original Tinted Moisturizer, which comes in a squeeze-tube and costs the same amount, you get much less product (less than half). Compared to other cream foundations that come in a compact, like Benefit’s Some Kind-A Gorgeous ($30.00 for 0.34 ounces) or Urban Decay’s Surreal Skin Cream-to-Powder Foundation ($35.00 for 0.28 ounces), Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact price is more reasonable, but still pricey.
