Dress up your eyes with the very merry shades of Veronese green and metallic rose, bronzed brown, warm gold, and plum in our Palette Jingle Belle Eyeshadows. It’s the perfect holiday gift for you and your special someone.
Lise Watier’s Jingle Belle palette was released during the holiday season (so yes, I’m quite late on this review), but is still available for purchase.
This palette comes in a gold plastic compact beautifully designed with faux crystals. There is a full-sized mirror inside. The compact itself is very light-weight.
The formula for these shadows is quite strange. You really, really have to dig into the shadows, otherwise the powder doesn’t transfer at all. But if you dig through the top layers, and apply multiple layers of the shadow, you get very pigmented, shimmery, and beautiful colors. It’s as if the shadows have dried on the surface. It’s not a problem of pigmentation or color payoff, it’s a problem with the texture of the formula.
You can use the shadows wet also, but this only improves the application slightly.
Ease of Use: 7.5/10
You have to really press your brush into the shadows and scrape the surface off to access the lower layers. You can get an intense color and shimmery finish, but not without a lot of work.
For $38.00 you get 5 colors for a total of 10 grams of product.
