Some skin tone imperfections and under-eye circles may require professional help. Our Portfolio Professional Correctors with super-smoothing, super-comforting Vitamin E and a remarkable five-way concealer spectrum correct and conceal skin tone imperfections and under-eye circles.
Lise Watier’s famous Portfolio Professional Corrector wheel contains 5 shades: 3 skin-tone shades (Ivory, Yellow Beige, Brown), a Lilac shade, and a Green shade. See below for a full review, photos, and swatches!
This concealer wheel comes in a plastic compact with a screw-off, see-through top. The packaging is heftier than it appears. Each shade is contained inside its own triangular well.
The consistency of these concealers is neither thin nor thick, though the formula leans more on the thick side of the spectrum. The texture is creamy without being either waxy or oily.
The concealers provide medium-to-full coverage and the option of 3 skin-tone shades provides flexibility. If you are light-skinned, you can use the lightest or middle shade for most instances, then use the darkest shade for contouring. If the lightest shade is too light, you can use it under the eyes, use the medium shade for most instances, and still use the darkest shade for contouring.
The mint and lilac shades have enough pigmentation to counter-act redness and sallowness/green veins but are also subtle enough to blend out without leaving obvious green or purple spots on your skin.
I can use this concealer under my eyes, but I do prefer a more moisturizing formula for that use. Those with dry skin should use concealers with a creamier formula than this product has. I find this wheel is best used on the planes of the face, for large, diffuse areas or for spot-concealing.
Ease of Use: 9/10
These concealers blend out pretty well and can be layered for fuller coverage. Use a flat concealer brush for the planes of the face and your fingers for under the eyes. This isn’t the best formula for using a rounded brush with, but it is doable.
For $31.00 you get 25 grams of product. Make Up For Ever’s Camouflage Cream Palette costs $38.00 and contains 10 grams. You are getting more than twice the amount of product for less money with Lise Watier’s concealer wheel.
Keep in mind that you will likely use up this product unevenly, meaning you will use 1-2 of the colors much more than the others.
