The first choice in luxury lipcolor, Colour Riche is deep, luminous color in a weightless, creamy texture. Dewy, botanical formulations moisturize, condition, and last for hours without flaking or splitting.
L’Oreal’s Project Runway The Electric Fantasie Collection launched this month in drugstores. The collection includes four (4) shades of L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Lipcolour lipsticks. This review is for the shade The Muse’s Kiss–a rose-coral shade.
For images and swatches of all of the Colour Riche Lipcolour lipsticks in this collection, please see this post.
L’Oreal’s Project Runway lipsticks come in plastic, black, rounded-square tubes with the Project Runway logo on the side.
The Muse’s Kiss is a very pigmented red-orange shade with a slight sheen finish. Depending on how the light hits, the color can look more orange/gold or more red. Overall, I feel the shade leans more orange than red (and looks more orange in real life than the swatches/photos shown, below).
The formula is slightly creamy and glides onto the skin well with even color. The lipstick brings a little moisture to the lips and feels smooth.
The lipstick is not transfer-resistant, but does last on the lips two (2) to three (3) hours before needing touch-ups.
My only criticism of this lipstick is the scent. It has an old smell to it and reminds me of what my Grandmother’s lipsticks used to smell like.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
The lipstick applies onto the skin smoothly and without skipping or tugging at the skin. This is a bold shade, so apply carefully around the edges of the lips.
For around $7.00 you get 0.13 ounces (3.6 grams) of lipstick. This is an average amount of product and price point for a drugstore lipstick.
