Colour Riche Le Gloss contains weightless moisturizers, Omega 3 and conditioning Vitamin E which leave lips soft and supple while shine extracts for the perfect glossy look.
L’Oreal’s Project Runway The Electric Fantasie Collection launched this month in drugstores. The collection includes four (4) shades of L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Le Gloss lipglosses. This review is for the shade The Muse’s Shine–a shimmery gold shade.
For images and swatches of all of the Le Gloss lipglosses in this collection, please see this post.
The Le Gloss lipglosses come in narrow, long, clear squeeze-tubes and have slanted applicators.
The Muse’s Shine consists of a clear gloss filled with gold shimmer particles. The gloss leaves a shimmery finish but the gold shimmer particles aren’t as prominent on the lips as they appear in the tube. This color may be better suited for use over a colored lipstick as opposed to alone.
The consistency of the gloss is neither thick nor thin. The gloss isn’t sticky at all. The formula is very emollient, protecting your lips and keeping them moisturized. The gloss also has a strong scent of vanilla frosting.
The gloss lasts for two (2) to three (3) hours depending on whether you are lightly eating/drinking or not.
This isn’t a highly unique shade, but the formula is solid and longer-wearing than many thinner formulas.
Ease of Use: 8.8/10
The slanted applicator is a little awkward to use because you’re not quite sure where the gloss will apply. Other than that, this is an easy color to apply without having to worry about being too precise. The gloss glides onto the lips smoothly.
For around $7.00 you get 0.4 fl oz of product. This is a little less product than average when it comes to drugstore lipglosses that come in squeeze-tube form.
