Colour Riche Le Gloss contains weightless moisturizers, Omega 3 and conditioning Vitamin E which leave lips soft and supple while shine extracts for the perfect glossy look.
L’Oreal’s Project Runway The Electric Fantasie Collection launched this month in drugstores. The collection includes four (4) shades of L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Le Gloss lipglosses. This review is for the shade The Mystic’s Shine–a clear gloss with silver, green and lavender shimmer particles.
For images and swatches of all of the Le Gloss lipglosses in this collection, please see this post.
The Le Gloss lipglosses come in narrow, long, clear squeeze-tubes and have slanted applicators.
The Mystic’s Shine consists of a clear gloss filled with variously-sized shimmer particles. This is the most interesting color in the Project Runway collection. It actually contains confetti-like particles that flash slightly green or silver. The gloss also contains light purple shimmer particles. The gloss leaves a shimmery finish. It doesn’t really flash green but does show a noticeable purple tone.
The consistency of the gloss is neither thick nor thin. The gloss isn’t sticky at all. The formula is very emollient, protecting your lips and keeping them moisturized. The gloss also has a strong scent of vanilla frosting.
The gloss lasts for two (2) to three (3) hours depending on whether you are lightly eating/drinking or not.
You can feel the small shimmer particles if you really press your lips together, but they’re otherwise not noticeable.
Ease of Use: 9/10
The slanted applicator is a little awkward to use because you’re not quite sure where the gloss will apply. Other than that, this is an easy color to apply without having to worry about being too precise. The gloss glides onto the lips smoothly.
For around $7.00 you get 0.4 fl oz of product. This is a little less product than average when it comes to drugstore lipglosses that come in squeeze-tube form.
