These sensuous limited edition shades of Lipglass are a perfect pairing for M∙A∙C Chenman Lipsticks. For a softer, more playful look, wear solo. The Chinese character for love is depicted in Chen Man’s calligraphy on the outer sleeve.
This review is for the 2 new Lipglass colors releasing with MAC’s upcoming Chen Man Love and Water Collection. This post includes photographs and swatches of the following colors:
- Force of Love: Vivid honeysuckle pink
- Budding Love: Pale lavender
These Lipglasses come in standard MAC packaging with doe-foot applicators. The tubes are made of plastic and can easily be taken on-the-go. The outer box packaging has a watercolor design on it.
Force of Love is a bright, coral-pink color with pink and silver pearls.
Budding Love is a fairly standard blue-based pink color with light pink pearls. The color gives off the slightest hint of lavender.
Both of these colors have great payoff and pigmentation and pack a decent punch of finely-milled shimmer.
The formula is smooth without being noticeably sticky. They will give a medium level of moisture to your lips. The consistency isn’t as thin or watery as MAC’s Sheen Supreme Lipglasses, but certainly isn’t thick either.
The problem with these 2 colors is that they settle noticeably into lip lines, which leaves somewhat of an unflattering finish.
I get about 2 hours of wear out of these Lipglasses before needing to re-apply.
Ease of Use: 9/10
These are very easy to work with because the doe-foot applicator gives you a precise application and the colors are so sheer that you can apply them quickly without worrying how accurate you’re being.
These are the same size (4.8 grams) as regular MAC Tinted Lipglasses and the same price ($14.50).
