Company’s Description
Versatile and multi-purpose, Cream Colour Base can be applied directly to bare skin, or layered over foundation, moisturizer, or powder. Apply with a brush, sponge, or fingers. Colour effects range from a light veil to highly dramatic, depending on method of application.
MAC’s Cream Colour Bases are multi-use products suitable for the cheeks, eyes, and face (with some color exceptions). This review is for the Cream Colour Base in Luna–a frosty white with shimmer. Luna is part of MAC’s permanent line.
Packaging: 9/10
MAC Cream Colour Bases come in standard packaging. The plastic compacts have see-through, snap-shut lids.
Quality: 9/10
Luna has a smooth, medium-thin cream consistency.
The color makes for a fantastic highlighter. The color is pale white, so it unfortunately may not suit dark skin because it can leave a white cast. But on medium-to-fair skin, this leaves a lovely, translucent, refined sheen.
The product doesn’t fade throughout the day. You can also set the cream with powder for extra-long wear.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
The creamy formula blends wonderfully and is perfect for both sheering out and layering for more intensity. You don’t need to set the cream with powder.
Price: 8.75/10
For $17.50 you get 3.2 grams (0.12 ounces) of product. Urban Decay’s Cream Highlighter costs $24.00 and contains 4.8 grams. MAC’s product costs slightly more per gram.
This kinda reminds me of Pearl cream base
Same product, similar shade. Pearl is more yellow.
