Ultra-smooth, Fluidline’s gel formula provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish. Goes on foolproof with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action. Long-wearing. Smudge-proof. Lines up in a rich array of colours and finishes. Brush sold separately.
This review is for the three (3) new Lipglass shades releasing with MAC’s Holiday Glamour Daze Collection. This post includes photographs and swatches of the following colors:
- Impossibly Sweet: Sheer soft pink with multidimensional pearl
- Deliciously Demure: Soft cool brown with pearl
- Talk Softly to Me: Light creamy coral pink
These Lipglasses come in standard MAC packaging with doe-foot applicators. The tubes are made of plastic and can easily be taken on-the-go.
Impossibly Sweet is essentially a clear gloss with silver and pink shimmery flecks suspended in it. It’s certainly not a unique shade, but it is pretty. It leaves an extremely glossy finish to the lips.
Deliciously Demure is a light, cool brown with tons of very tiny pearlescent particles. It looks beautiful on the lips and makes the skin look very smooth. Despite being a brown color, it’s very wearable.
Talk Softly to Me is a milky, yellow-based peachy-pink shade. The shade is translucent. This color’s milky quality really makes your lip lines stand out, creating an unflattering effect. If I were reviewing just this color alone, I’d probably give it a C-rating.
The Lipglass formula has medium thickness but doesn’t have any sticky quality. As is typical for this product, these lasted about 2 hours on the lips before needing touching-up.
Ease of Use: 8.75/10
These are fairly easy to work with because the doe-foot applicator gives you a precise application. The soft shades also make it easy to apply the color without have to get a really precise line. I do have to dip the applicator back into the tube 1-2 times to evenly coat my lips.
These are $1.50 more than regular Lipglasses but contain the same amount.
