Company’s Description

A lip finish that fuses the creamy, sheen-filled nature of Cremesheen Lipstick with the shine of M∙A∙C Lipglass. Soft, comfortable, non-sticky. Applies with a doe-foot applicator. Use as a top layer to its namesake Lipstick or on its own.

  • Meteoric: Mid-tone vibrant coral
  • Astral: Bright yellow pink
  • Galaxy Rose: Mid-tone violet pink

Packaging: 9/10

These glosses come in standard MAC packaging and have doe-foot applicators. The tubes are made of plastic and can easily be taken on-the-go.

Quality: 8.75/10

Celestial Kiss is a pale peach with silver micro-shimmer. On the lips, the color appears near-clear with only a hint of peach and leaves a decent amount of refined shimmer.

Strictly Plutonic is a pale pink-brown that actually shows up closer to a medium peach on the lips. It has no shimmer.

Meteoric is a light coral with gold micro-shimmer. The pigmentation is decent, but not opaque or strong, which is expected with the Cremesheen formula.

Astral is a bright, medium pink with silver micro-shimmer. The same comments apply to Astral as with Meteoric.

Galaxy Rose is a light pinky-rose color with no shimmer. The finish is transparent.

Cremesheen Glasses are watery in formula, which makes them glide onto the skin effortlessly and without any stickiness. All of them have varying degrees of translucence, so don’t expect to get any opaque finish out of them.

The watery formula means these glosses last no more than 1-2 hours before needing re-application.

These are wearable colors, but none of them really stands out to me. This collection is a good place to start if you’re new to MAC and want to start gathering Cremesheen glosses.

Ease of Use: 9.5/10

The small doe-foot and formulation make application easy. The light pigmentation also makes precise application unnecessary.

Price: 7.25/10

These are the same size (2.7 ml) and price ($19.50, up from $18.50) as MAC’s other Cremesheen glosses. Other MAC glosses, though, contain not only much more product but also cost less.
