Company’s Description
Sheer lip colour with a pearlized high-shine gloss finish. Comfortable to wear: lush, multi-dimensional. Gives a cool-warm, vanilla buzz to the lips. Moisturizes, soothes and visibly plumps the lips to make them look luxuriously healthy and well-conditioned. Contains vitamin E for added environmental protection.
This review is for the 3 new Plushglass colors releasing with MAC’s upcoming Vera Collection. This post includes photographs and swatches of the following colors:
- Confetti: Bright orange coral with soft pearl (Limited Edition)
- On a Holiday: Bright pink with blue pearl (Limited Edition)
- Butterfly Dream: Mid-tone violet with blue pearl (Limited Edition)
Fashion Fanatic and Pretty Plush are also included in this collection. Fashion Fanatic is a re-promoted color and Pretty Plush is permanent.

Packaging: 9/10
These glosses come in standard MAC packaging. The tubes are made of plastic and can easily be taken on-the-go. Plushglasses come with doe-foot applicators.
Quality: 9/10
Confetti is an orange coral with silver pearls. On the lips, it gives the slightest tint of coral with a healthy serving of silver shimmer.
On a Holiday is a cherry red with light pink shimmers. The color applies sheer, giving your lips a tint of red and subtle sparkle.
Butterfly Dream is a violet purple with blue and pink shimmers. On the lips, it gives just a hint of purple and a good amount of sparkle.
The Plushglass formula smells like vanilla, is pretty thin, and isn’t sticky. These are plumping glosses, so you will feel a tingle. I’m not overly sensitive to the burning sensation plumping products produce; even so, I think the effect is pretty intense. So if you’re at all sensitive to this sort of thing, avoid this lipgloss.
Because the formula is thin, these last about 2 hours on the lips before needing re-application.
Ease of Use: 9/10
Since these colors are all translucent, application is low-maintenance. The doe-foot applicator is good for applying the glosses precisely, even without a mirror.
Price: 8/10
Plushglasses now cost $19.50 and contain 0.14 fl oz (4.2 ml). I find this pricing odd, given that MAC Lustreglasses and Tinted Lipglasses are not only bigger (0.17 fl oz), but cheaper ($14.50). There isn’t anything super special about Plushglass glosses (other than “plumping”), so the $5.00 difference doesn’t seem justified.

The colors are quite nice, but I’m a little worried about the sting since these are plumping glosses. Is the stinging feeling very intense for plushglass?
Yes. It is pretty intense, and I don’t consider myself too sensitive to that kind of thing. Full review will be up soon.
Oh I don’t really like plumping glosses
