New soft and brilliant Glitzy formula filled with super shiny polymers and the next generation of pearls to create the illusion of 3D depth for fuller, sexier, looking lips.
Milani offers 7 shades of its 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss, which some have compared to MAC’s Dazzleglasses. This review is for the shade Designer Label–a soft peach with pink, silver, and gold glitters.
This lipgloss comes in a clear plastic tube with a gold handle. It has a short, synthetic, brush applicator.
Designer Label gives the slightest tint of peach to the lips and a healthy serving of multi-colored shimmer.
Despite the presence of less-than-finely-milled glitter, I don’t feel any grittiness. Even better, it isn’t sticky. The formula is thin and fairly lightweight.
I get average wear-time out of these, which means they last around 2 hours before fading.
Overall, I think this is a good lipgloss, but there’s nothing super special about the color.
Ease of Use: 9.5/10
These are very simple to use. They glide on easily and because the color is sheer, you don’t have to worry about precise application. The brushes are also smooth, which makes application pleasant.
The glitter does take a little bit of time to remove from the skin. But it’s nothing close to some of MAC’s lip glosses, which have glitter that doesn’t seem to want to come off, even with a makeup wipe.
For $7.49 you get 3.48 grams (0.12 ounces) of gloss. This is a competitive price-point for the amount of drugstore lipgloss you’re getting.
