Captivating eyeshadow powder that features multiple infusions of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Metallic eyeshadows contain richly refined color intense metallic pigments. All of these gorgeous combinations are designed to be used Wet or Dry.
Milani offers 8 different colors in its Metallic Baked Eyeshadow line. This review is for the color Must Have Fuchsia–a deep, rose-magenta with a lighter, metallic finish.
Milani’s single baked shadows come in a round compact with a flip-up lid. The packaging is bigger than it needs to be to house the shadow and includes a low-quality brush.
Used dry, Must Have Fuchsia is a poorly-pigmented color that applies a translucent layer of color. The pigmentation improves when the shadow is used wet, but it still doesn’t quite have the oopmh you see in the pan.
The powder’s formula is that of a typical baked product. It’s not soft, but not too dry either. This color holds up pretty well under the brush and doesn’t become too crumbly or dusty.
Ease of Use: 8.5/10
You definitely need to apply this shadow over a primer, otherwise creasing begins within the first hour after application. You should also expect to apply multiple layers or use the product wet.
For $6.99 you get 0.05 ounces (1.5 grams) of product. This is an average price-point for drugstore single baked shadows.
